First Defense Probiotic Paste is recommended for use in horses when numbers or beneficial intestinal bacteria are expected to be low, i.e. at weaning, after trailering, during times of stress, following surgery, and when recovering from disease or diarrhea.
This combination of intestinal bacteria, live yeast culture, and yeast cell wall components will help restore your horse's digestive function. First Defense Probiotics also contains significant concentrations of B Vitamins, essential to horses recovering from stress.
Feed with the convenient metered tube, 30 ml per day at weaning and after trailering, or 60 ml per day after competition, post surgery, or following diarrhea or illness.
